Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our Commercial Audit service line in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of audit clients, solving complex technical matters, and overseeing the development of your team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a large portfolio of audit clients, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services
- Solve complex technical matters for clients, providing expert advice and guidance
- Oversee the development of your team, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure they reach their full potential
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
- Take opportunities for wider department responsibilities, including training and pitching new projects
To be successful in this role, you will need a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience. You will also need to be confident in managing a large portfolio of audit clients and have excellent technical knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102.
Desirable skills include experience of managing audits of large companies, project management experience, and knowledge of IFRS and auditing listed companies. You will also need to be proficient in using audit software and Microsoft packages.
