Job Summary:

Driver Hire Torbay is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV driver to join our team. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for collecting refuse and recycling from residential properties in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle to collect refuse and recycling from residential properties.
  • Ensure all collections are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and support staff to achieve team goals.
Requirements:
  • A valid Category C driving licence.
  • In-date CPC and digital tachograph cards.
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence; no DR, DD, or IN convictions (required for insurance purposes).
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads due to the nature of the job.
  • Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from work.
