Job Description:

We are seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 HGV drivers to join our team in Kingsbridge. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for collecting refuse and recycling from residential properties in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting refuse and recycling from residential properties
  • Operating a HGV vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensuring all waste is collected and disposed of in accordance with regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service to residents and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Full and valid Category C driving licence
  • In-date CPC and digital tachograph cards
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence; no DR, DD, or IN convictions (required for insurance purposes)
  • Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads due to the nature of the job
  • Reliable personal transportation to commute to and from work
