About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our team at a care home in Lincoln. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for residents, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and plan menus that cater to the specific nutritional requirements of residents.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety in the kitchen.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure meals support the health and well-being of residents.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Candidates will require experience in the care sector and experience in a Chef/Cook hospitality role.
  • Understanding of dietary needs and restrictions, particularly for end-of-life and palliative care.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £26,904 - £32,320 per annum, based on 26-30 hours per week. The successful candidate will also receive a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for career development and progression.
