Job Description

As a Community Care Practitioner with Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals accessing treatment through the FREED early intervention model for eating disorders.

Your key responsibilities will include working collaboratively with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and deliver therapeutic activities, managing a case load, and providing administrative support to allied healthcare staff.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Support occupational therapists in delivering the FREED model.
  2. Develop and facilitate therapeutic activities under supervision.
  3. Manage a case load as agreed with supervisor.
  4. Assist qualified occupational therapists in delivering therapy services.
  5. Work independently in the community, undertaking tasks within the remit of non-complex patients.
  6. Act as first contact for non-complex patients.

Estimated salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
