The Senior Team Lead is a key position within our Supported Living service, responsible for leading the operational house team of Support Workers to provide person-centered care to young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health and social needs.

As a Senior Team Lead, you will ensure staff have the resources and support to provide the level and quality of service required day to day, plus the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the service.

You will be responsible for mentoring and coaching support on key operational tasks for the team, being visible and accessible to staff and individuals being supported.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience and working within a similar setting, with excellent knowledge of Ofsted Quality standards and all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field.

They will also have strong experience in managing a staff team, training staff within a care setting, and providing support and assistance to individuals with learning disabilities.

The Senior Team Lead will work closely with the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager to ensure the well-being of individuals and promote a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the operational house team of Support Workers to provide person-centered care to young adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex health and social needs.
  • Ensure staff have the resources and support to provide the level and quality of service required day to day.
  • Mentor and coach support on key operational tasks for the team.
  • Be visible and accessible to staff and individuals being supported.

Requirements

  • Flexible approach providing additional support to the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager, quality assurance checks.
  • Ability to promote a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals.

About We Support LTD

We Support LTD is an established Supported Living provider dedicated to providing a creative, happy, and secure environment for young people with learning disabilities across Cheshire and Trafford.

We support young adults with learning disabilities, using a Positive Behaviour Support Approach.

We currently have 15 home-from-home, and each of the homes has its individual staff team of support workers.

All of our services are 24-hour support services where staff will work with the same person/people each week in the same house in order to build a strong, trusting, and caring relationship.

We are not a domiciliary care company. Employees will generally work at one location and do not do "house visits" traveling between services.
