Future Directions CIC is seeking a Senior Support Services Manager to lead our specialist services in Wythenshawe, Manchester. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a team, and will be able to live out our values on a daily basis.

The Role

  • Hours per week, Monday to Friday;
  • On-call duties worked on a rota basis;
  • £28,640 – £31,790 per annum depending upon experience.

As a Senior Support Services Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of service and support provided to people who use our services. You will also manage service contracts, line manage front line staff, and organise any building maintenance requirements.

Substantial experience gained managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs is a given, as well as being values and outcome driven, able to lead by example using your firm, values-driven management style. You're transparent and encouraging too, and have lots of tact and diplomacy.

For internal candidates the position will initially be offered on a 12 month secondment basis and internal applicants must have passed their probationary period.

All successful candidates will be required to complete a full induction which will take place in Chadderton, Oldham.

If successful you must be able to complete a paid 4-day induction course on commencement (Monday to Thursday, – followed by 4 further days training which are held on fixed days within the first month of employment. Please note the induction will take place at Marle House, Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 9XA.
