Finance Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Assistant to join our team at Sofitel London Heathrow. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in supporting all areas of finance, including Credit Control, Purchase Ledger, Income Audit, Cashiering, M&E Billing, F&B Cost Controls and Accounts Payable, Account Receivables.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the finance team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, preparation of accounts, and processing sales orders
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry and document preparation
  • Work closely with the sales and purchase ledger teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Relevant accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT) or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a finance role, preferably in a hospitality or hotel environment
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Excel and MS Word
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
