Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Support Engineer to work directly for a market-leading global operation at Heathrow. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and resolving complex technical faults in the Low Level control equipment, including analysis of data, improvement, and optimisation within the baggage handling system.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead complex and critical control incidents
* Interface directly with the duty manager and high-level teams during P1/P2 events
* Maintain and update specialist OEM Controls – IPC, BAS, CM Servers, and Client Device applications at LHR for Baggage Systems
* Provide specialist support for OEM PLC's, Safety PLC's, etc.
* Support and maintain the documentation and software repositories (CM Synergy, Version Dog/Mass System environments, Smarteam/Enovia)
* Fault find communication issues between HLC and LLC components
* Monitor and oversee the provision of 2nd/3rd line support to integrated technologies

The successful candidate will have a good appreciation of both high-level and electro-mechanical equipment and the interfaces with the low level.
