Your Role as a Delivery Specialist

As a Delivery Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of automotive parts to our customers. You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and completing orders for delivery, verifying invoices for accuracy.
  • Examining the condition of merchandise upon delivery or prior to acceptance, confirming details with the customer and obtaining their signature.
  • Organizing daily pickups of customer cores, returns, and warranties without disrupting delivery efficiency.
  • Accurately recording all deliveries and pickups, ensuring proper paperwork accompanies all customer transactions while adhering to customer service delivery strategies.
  • Complying with electronic delivery principles and standards.
  • Promptly reporting any customer complaints or dissatisfaction to the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager.
  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing daily checks of fluid levels, tire condition, and overall vehicle appearance.
  • Adhering to all traffic rules and regulations at all times.
  • Communicating delivery progress and any delays with the Dispatcher and/or Store Manager.
  • Participating in cycle count programs and annual physical inventory.
  • Providing support with customer service activities within the store location, including stocking shelves and maintaining a neat and orderly environment.

What We're Looking For

  • No prior experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
