About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Clerk to join our team at Booker Group. As a key member of our administration department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the administration department in managing daily pinch points and cover sickness/holidays as required
  • Manage time sheets for each shift and authorise holidays to ensure adequate cover
  • Monitor and investigate Customer Service queries
  • Participate in stock take set up and compliance
  • Liaise with the Transport Team Managers to support operations clerks
  • Control the efficiency of order capture processes
  • Ensure store invoices are released as per agreed timescales
  • Supervise and manage direct reports
  • Develop direct reports through annual appraisals and deal with disciplinary/grievance matters
  • Oversee and manage health and safety operations

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English-grade C or above
  • Previous administrative experience and experience of Warehouse Management Systems
  • PC Literate
