Job Title: Transport Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transport Manager to join our team at Get Staffed Online Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of a fleet of vehicles, including scheduling, routing, and maintenance.
  • Work closely with our Health and Safety Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve transportation efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with our directors to ensure that all aspects of transportation operations are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on transportation costs, including fuel, maintenance, and labor expenses.
  • Ensure that all drivers and operators have the necessary qualifications and training to perform their duties safely and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Transport Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work logically and systematically, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
