Duty Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Lampton Leisure. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our wet side facilities, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure the smooth opening and closing of our facilities, including supervising the lifeguard team and being the first point of contact for any queries.
- Maintenance and Cleaning: Coordinate regular maintenance and cleaning of our facilities, ensuring they are always clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Pool Plant Operations: Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly pool plant operations, tasks, and checks, ensuring our pools are always safe and clean.
- Health and Safety: Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns, and report on our management system, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers.
- Pool Hygiene and Safety Checks: Perform regular pool hygiene and safety checks to ensure our facilities meet the highest standards.
- Events and Activities: Coordinate events and activities, such as galas and holiday camps, ensuring they run smoothly and safely.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all users of our facilities, addressing any queries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience of wet side operations within the leisure sector.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- The ability to communicate clearly, influence, and motivate staff.
- Experience of working within a Health & Safety critical environment, with the ability to understand and implement legislation in the operational environment.
- Ideal qualifications include a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ), First Aid at Work Qualification, and Pool Plant Operator Qualification.
