About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Lampton Leisure. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our leisure centre, ensuring that all operations flow smoothly and that our customers receive an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Opening and Closing Procedures: Ensure that the leisure centre is opened and closed safely and efficiently, and that all necessary procedures are followed.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and cleaning of the facility, ensuring that all areas are clean and safe for customers.
  • Pool Plant Operations: Responsible for the daily, weekly, and monthly pool plant operations, tasks, and checks, ensuring that the pool is safe and clean for customers.
  • Health and Safety: Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns, and report on the management system, ensuring that the leisure centre is a safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Customer Service: Provide first-class customer service to all users of the facility, addressing any queries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience of wet side operations within the leisure sector, including supervisory experience.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to communicate clearly, influence, and motivate staff, ensuring that all team members are working together effectively.
  • Health and Safety Knowledge: Experience of working within a Health & Safety critical environment, with the ability to understand and implement legislation in the operational environment.
Qualifications
  • National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ): Ideally hold or work towards a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
  • First Aid at Work Qualification: Ideally hold or work towards a First Aid at Work Qualification.
  • Pool Plant Operator Qualification: Ideally hold or work towards a Pool Plant Operator Qualification.
