About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Lampton Leisure. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our wet side facilities, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure the safe operation of our wet side facilities, including pool plant operations, and maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and complaints, and ensuring a positive experience for all users of our facilities.
  • Operations: Supervise and coordinate the maintenance and cleaning of our facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Pool Operations: Manage the daily, weekly, and monthly pool plant operations, tasks, and checks, ensuring the highest standards of water quality and safety.
  • Events and Activities: Coordinate events and activities, such as galas and holiday camps, ensuring they are well-planned and executed.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience of wet side operations within the leisure sector.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • The ability to communicate clearly, influence, and motivate staff.
  • Experience of working within a health and safety critical environment, with the ability to understand and implement legislation in the operational environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ideally hold or work towards a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
  • Ideally hold or work towards a First Aid at Work Qualification.
  • Ideally hold or work towards a Pool Plant Operator Qualification.
