Job Description

**Close Out Coordinator Role at Semco Maritime**

We are seeking a highly skilled Close Out Coordinator to join our team at Semco Maritime. As a Close Out Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • **Provide Engineering Input to Estimates**: Collaborate with project teams to provide engineering input to estimates for project and operations close-out work scope.
  • **Compliance with Industry Standards**: Ensure that all work complies with Semco Maritime's engineering procedures, industry codes, and client standards.
  • **Close Out Reporting**: Provide checking of discipline documents and complete interdisciplinary checking of documents against red line marks where necessary.
  • **Progress and Planning Meetings**: Participate in weekly progress and planning meetings to ensure project goals are met.
  • **Budget Management**: Ensure that appropriate budgets exist for close-out work and that workpacks are fully closed.
  • **Risk Assessment**: Conduct risk assessments and ensure that all changes are properly documented and implemented.
  • **Drawing Management**: Maintain drawing registers and ensure that all drawings are accurate and up-to-date.
  • **Communication**: Liaise with project teams and engineers as required to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • **Diligence and Time Management**: Demonstrate diligence in meeting deadlines and managing workload.
  • **Close Out Expertise**: Possess a good understanding of close-out requirements and industry standards.
  • **Communication Skills**: Exhibit excellent communication and time management skills.
  • **Drawing Management Experience**: Previous experience with client drawing management systems is advantageous.
