We are recruiting for a Disability Benefits Assessor to join our team at Maximus. As a key member of our team, you will conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities and health conditions, producing detailed reports to support their benefit claims.

With a strong background in nursing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, you will be well-suited to this role. Our training programme is designed to help you succeed, with 6 weeks of intensive training followed by ongoing support and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities and health conditions
  • Produce high-quality reports to support benefit claims
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customers' needs and circumstances

Requirements:

  • Valid NMC registration number
  • At least 1 year of broad post-registration adult or mental health experience gained within or outside of the NHS
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK - we cannot offer sponsorships
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computer software to type and produce detailed reports
