About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate professional to lead our Student Housing Advice Service. As the Housing Advice Service Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of advisors, developing high-quality services and processes, and providing expert advice and guidance to students on housing-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of advisors, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery
  • Develop and implement high-quality services and processes to meet the needs of students
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on housing-related issues, including tenancy agreements, living conditions, and tenant conflict
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, university staff, and external partners
  • Monitor data, outcomes, compliance, and service standards to ensure continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Experience in housing advice or a related field, with a strong understanding of housing issues in Bristol
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive service improvement
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
