About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Student Housing Advice Service. As the service lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of advisors who provide high-quality advice and guidance to students living in private sector housing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the housing issues faced by students in Bristol and the surrounding area. You will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, university staff, and external partners. Your excellent communication and presentation skills will enable you to effectively manage key stakeholder relationships and deliver presentations on data collected by the service.

You will be responsible for monitoring data, outcomes, compliance, and service standards to ensure the continual development of the service. Your experience in managing multiple or complex projects involving a range of stakeholders will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of advisors providing high-quality advice and guidance to students
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, university staff, and external partners
  • Monitor data, outcomes, compliance, and service standards to ensure continual development of the service
  • Manage multiple or complex projects involving a range of stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience as an advisor or caseworker
  • Strong understanding of housing issues faced by students in Bristol and the surrounding area
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience in managing multiple or complex projects
