About the Role

We are seeking an experienced advisor to lead our new Student Housing Advice Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of advisors, providing high-quality advice and guidance to students, and developing services and processes to meet the needs of our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of advisors to deliver high-quality advice and guidance to students
  • Develop and implement services and processes to meet the needs of our members
  • Provide expert advice on housing issues, including tenancy agreements, living conditions, and tenant conflict
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners
  • Monitor data, outcomes, and compliance to ensure the continual development of the service

Requirements

  • Experience as an advisor or caseworker, with a strong understanding of housing issues
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively
  • Skilled communicator and presenter, with experience of managing multiple projects
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor data and outcomes
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage workload
