We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled SEN Teaching Assistant - Abingdon to join our team at Austin Fraser. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the educational journey of a non-verbal Year 2 student with Autism and a Global Development diagnosis.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of SEN needs, particularly Autism and Global Development, and be able to provide one-to-one support in a KS1 setting. You will work closely with the teaching staff to develop and implement effective support strategies, ensuring the student's educational goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing one-to-one support in a KS1 setting
  • Assisting with lesson planning and delivery
  • Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with SEN needs
  • Safeguarding training and enhanced DBS
  • Able to work full-time (Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 3:30pm)
