Teaching Personnel: Academic SEN Tutor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Academic SEN Tutor to join our team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing individualised support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), developing and implementing tailored learning plans to meet their specific needs, and delivering engaging and interactive lessons to support academic progress and personal development.


Key Job Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN through individualised guidance and mentoring
  • Develop and implement bespoke learning plans to cater to individual student needs
  • Deliver interactive and engaging lessons to promote academic progress and personal growth
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development

Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of SEN policies and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills

Compensation and Benefits
  • Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling
  • Collaborative work environment with students, parents, and educational professionals
  • £20 - £30 per hour
