Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Specialist to join our Infrastructure team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert project controls support to our clients across various sectors, including energy, defence, rail, airports, highways, water, and utilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with project managers and cost engineers to develop and maintain project schedules, cost plans, and resource allocation plans.
  • Provide performance reporting and analysis support to clients, including progress monitoring, cost control, and risk management.
  • Develop and implement project control systems, including earned value management, change management, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop strategies to ensure project success.
  • Conduct assurance reviews to ensure that project schedules and cost plans are accurate and reliable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project controls, with a strong background in programme management, earned value management, change and risk management, planning, project controls, and/or PMO.
  • Excellent knowledge of project planning principles, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and schedule logic.
  • Technical competence in schedule construction, including task creation, duration estimation, and resource allocation.
  • Working knowledge of planning systems, including Primavera, Project Online, Microsoft Project, and Asta Powerproject.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex project control concepts to stakeholders.
