Senior Building Surveyor Opportunity

Aldwych Consulting is seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their talented team in London or Epsom. This is a great opportunity for a chartered Building Surveyor looking for a new challenge and the chance to diversify their experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and provide a range of Building Surveying/project management duties across several projects in different sectors.
  • Manage client relationships and service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
  • Apply standard forms of building contracts, such as JCT and NEC.
  • Conduct defect analysis, undertake building surveys, and produce professional reports and specifications.
  • Understand quality, health, safety, and environmental principles within project management.
  • Manage project administration duties for larger projects.
  • Perform due diligence, condition, and measured surveys.
  • Design and lead small to medium-sized construction projects.
Requirements:
  • BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree.
  • Proven all-round surveying experience.
  • Pre and post-contract project management experience, with the ability to deliver effectively to clients.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Liaise with senior colleagues to build a profitable service and positive team environment.
  • Strong IT skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS, with experience in Revit an advantage.
  • Understanding of BIM level 2.
  • Compliance with legal, professional, and corporate compliances for all work carried out.
