Senior Building Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Aldwych Consulting Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Building Surveyor to take on a new challenge and diversify their experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and provide a range of Building Surveying/project management duties across multiple projects and sectors.
- Assist in the development of new and repeat business across all sectors.
- Manage client relationships and service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
- Apply standard forms of building contracts, such as JCT and NEC.
- Stay up-to-date with industry issues and best practices.
- Manage framework agreements and deliver commissions.
- Conduct defect analysis, building surveys, and produce professional reports and specifications.
- Understand quality, health, safety, and environmental principles in project management.
- Manage project administration and contract duties for larger projects.
- Perform due diligence, condition, and measured surveys.
- Design and lead small to medium-sized construction projects.
- Provide professional services, such as party walls, asset management, and statutory applications.
- BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying or RICS Accredited degree.
- Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Proven experience in surveying and project management.
- Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience.
- Experience in pre and post-contract project management responsibilities.
- Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and NBS.
- Understanding of BIM level 2.
- Ability to manage and develop team members.
- Experience in managing clients and their expectations.
