About the Team
Our Family Support & Intervention - Safeguarding & Legal team is responsible for delivering a range of services to children and families in Conwy. As a Team Manager, you will play a key role in leading the team and ensuring that our services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Safeguarding and Legal Team activities within the County Borough of Conwy.
- Work closely with other teams and agencies to develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery.
- Ensure that all services are delivered in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, including the Children Act 1989 and the Human Rights Act 1998.
- Maintain accurate records and budgets, and provide regular reports to the Section Manager.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in social work, registered or eligible for registration with Social Care Wales. You must also have excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a legal and safeguarding context.
Estimated Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £43,943 per annum, based on the national average salary for a Team Manager in a similar position.
