Early Years Care Specialist

Bright Horizons Hinchley Wood Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a dedicated Early Years Care Specialist to join their team.
About the RoleThis is a full-time, permanent position requiring 40 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday.
The salary for this role is £12.13 per hour, equating to an estimated annual salary of approximately £25,222.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively as part of a nursery team to provide high-quality care and education to babies and children up to the age of 5.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in young children.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents through daily communication about their child's activities.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment that supports the emotional and physical well-being of children.
- Develop and implement play and learning opportunities that cater to the diverse needs of children.
- Promote and ensure compliance with child welfare, protection, health, and safety procedures and policies.
- Work closely with the Assessor to complete required training and coursework for formal qualification.
- A commitment to completing the Apprenticeship program.
- GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2. A willingness to complete Functional Skills alongside the apprenticeship if necessary.
- Previous experience working with children is beneficial but not essential. Relevant qualifications or experience in areas like nursery bank staff, teaching assistant, early years educator, nanny, or childminder are valued.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
