About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations, and treatments to clients with spinal cord injuries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist psychological assessments of clients referred to the service, incorporating complex data from various sources.
  • Develop psychological formulations that integrate information from assessments within a coherent framework.
  • Provide supervision of psychological interventions provided by other staff, as appropriate.
  • Exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of the psychological practice within the service.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
  • Registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Substantial experience of specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment across various care settings.
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of service user groups, across the whole life course.
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to high-quality care and service provision.
