Job Description

Job Title: Clinical Consultant Psychologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Consultant Psychologist to join our team at Change, Grow, Live. As a Clinical Consultant Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing leadership and oversight to our Psychology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the Psychology team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of services and support the recovery of clients.
  • Work closely with commissioners and service partners to reduce barriers to mental health treatment for people using substances.
  • Provide clinical supervision and governance around team group psychosocial interventions for substance use difficulties.
  • Evolve the in-house Psychology groups and workshops offer to support clients with co-occurring difficulties.
  • Participate in strategic forums to support the ambition of reducing barriers to mental health treatment.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience of working in a clinical psychology role, preferably in a substance misuse setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
