Role Overview

You will work directly with students, providing individualized support and guidance in daily tasks, classroom activities, and communication development. Collaborating with Speech and Language Therapists, you will contribute to creating and implementing personalized learning plans, ensuring each student receives tailored support.

A competitive salary of £80-£90 per day reflects the value we place on this role. As an Autism/Speech and Language Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in special needs education and speech and language development, preparing you for future success in this field.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with Autism, focusing on daily tasks, classroom activities, and communication development.
  • Work closely with Speech and Language Therapists to implement individualized learning plans and optimize communication strategies.
  • A minimum of a degree in Psychology or Criminology is required; however, experience working in a similar setting or with SEN is not essential.
