Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Administrator to join our team at Stoke Mandeville Renal Unit, a satellite unit of Oxford Kidney Unit. The Unit provides a comprehensive range of chronic renal services.

We are looking for a skilled and organized individual to work part time for 29 hours per week in our unit, running outpatient clinics and providing administration support to our busy haemodialysis unit.

The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of the outpatient department at Stoke Mandeville Renal Unit and will also provide clerical support to the Unit Manager, Patient Administration Coordinator, and nursing team members as required.

Main Duties
  • Patient administration underpins the patient journey and supports clinical teams in delivering high-quality patient care.
  • The post holder will oversee the weekly clinics, provide administration support to our consultants, work closely with the haemodialysis unit, and book transport for patients as required using the online system.
Requirements
  • 5 GCSE or Equivalent Grades A-C including Maths and English
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Previous administrative experience minimum 1 Year
  • Previous NHS experience as Admin
  • Experience of working with patient data systems particularly EPR Centre Millennium and Choose and Book
