Lunchtime Care Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Care Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs at Buckinghamshire Council.

This role requires a minimum of 15 hours per week, term time only. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary range of £19,312 - £20,391 (Bucks pay - Range 1A).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting pupils with self-care activities during lunchtime, such as feeding and personal hygiene care.
  • Supporting pupils on the school playground to encourage social interaction and independence.
  • Working with the Catering team and classroom staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our students.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a caring and patient individual who is able to build strong relationships with our students. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide high-quality administrative support are also essential.
