About the Role:

This permanent, part-time position is perfect for an experienced Dental Receptionist or a Qualified Dental Nurse looking to advance their career. As a New Patient Coordinator, you'll ensure every patient receives an exceptional experience from their first contact with our practice.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Patient Journeys: Be the first point of contact for new patients, guiding them with empathy and professionalism.
  • Engage & Communicate: Handle enquiries promptly via phone, email, and other platforms, ensuring all patient questions are answered.
  • Facilitate Consultations: Coordinate patient consultations, explain treatment options, and assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Present Costs Clearly: Answer questions about basic treatments and costs, providing clear and helpful information to new enquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with dentists, nurses, and support staff to ensure a seamless patient journey.
  • Maintain Excellence: Adhere to practice protocols, policies, and data security standards while contributing to a smooth-running practice.

What We're Looking For:

  • Dental Experience: A strong background as a Dental Receptionist or qualified Dental Nurse, with TCO experience highly preferred.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Friendly, empathetic, and professional in every patient interaction.
  • Organisation & Attention to Detail: Highly organised and able to keep calm in a busy practice environment.
  • Technology Savvy: Confident in using dental software (EXACT or Dentally experience is a plus), Boxly and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Personable & Professional: Approachable, presentable, and committed to upholding our values of patient-centred care.
  • Flexible & Adaptable: Willing to adjust to the dynamic needs of the practice and support colleagues when needed.

The Details:

  • Hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 10 am – 12 pm and 4 pm – 8 pm.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 11 am – 1 pm.
  • Hours are split between two coordinators.
  • Location: On-site at Priors Hall Dental, NN17 Corby.
  • Pay: Starting at £13 per hour, with potential bonuses for exceptional performance.
  • Type: Permanent, part-time position.
