About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Chef to join our team at Woodville Nursery School. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals for children with specific dietary needs
  • Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained
  • Manage kitchen inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Collaborate with the nursery team to provide a stimulating and safe environment for children
  • Deputise for the Cook in their absence
Requirements
  • Level 2 Food and Hygiene certification
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH
  • Ability to reflect the Storal values of responsibility, openness, and teamwork
