As an Empathetic Care Assistant, you will be part of a team that provides personalised care and support to individuals with learning disabilities living in our supported living service in Barrow, Cumbria.

Role Overview

This is a rewarding opportunity for a caring individual who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of others. You will work collaboratively with our team to ensure our service users receive the highest quality of life and promote independence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work flexibly according to the needs of the service, including days, nights, and weekends on a rota basis
  • Respect and promote the rights and entitlements of people with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, and physical disabilities
  • Provide respectful personal care in accordance with individual's personal support plans
  • Support service users in maintaining safety, security, cleanliness, and comfort of their homes
  • Be responsive to changing needs and preferences of service users

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is £18,000-£22,000, depending on experience. This figure is based on national averages and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
