Human Resources Director

Reed Bristol is seeking an experienced HR professional to cover a maternity leave on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR management and be able to design and execute a site HR strategy aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy to drive business performance.
  • Provide exceptional employee experiences throughout the entire lifecycle, from recruitment to retirement.
  • Implement and maintain Group policies and industry best practices to ensure compliance and excellence.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Lead training initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities and drive business results.
  • Collaborate with the Group HR team on people-focused initiatives to drive business success.
  • Support strategic workforce planning to ensure the right talent is in place to drive business growth.
  • Mentor and develop the site management team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Deliver timely people metrics to enhance communication and drive performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a HR Manager or similar level within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing a team of up to 7 people.
  • Qualified by experience or CIPD Level 5 qualification.
  • Forward thinking, ambitious, and innovative with a passion for HR and business excellence.
