Strategic Partnership Development Lead

As our new Strategic Partnership Development Lead, you'll identify, manage, and execute complex strategic opportunities and relationships for our Master Trust. You'll be accountable for customer-centric leadership and the development of partnerships in the UK pensions market, supporting our CEO (UK), CCO, and wider leadership team in executing our business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Management and Planning: Set the strategic direction, working closely with senior leaders to build strong partnerships with external clients and prospects across the UK.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships across internal functions to design and achieve a delivery function that's customer-centric, efficient, and adds value.
- Commercial Focus: Ensure a commercial focus on achieving benefits for partners, customers, and investors, influencing and implementing solutions that add measurable value.
- Business Development and Prospecting: Support and manage opportunities across the UK representing significant revenue potential for the firm.
- Sales Planning and Support: Lead efforts across the deal cycle from identification and evaluation through pitching, negotiating, contracting, and onboarding.
- Account Management: Full accountability for a selected portfolio of partnership accounts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably in the Pension/Retail sector.
- A proven track record in driving B2B partnerships and executing complex deals.
- Understanding and competence in prospecting, sales management, partnering, business development, account management, and business growth.
- Customer-centric and commercial mindset.
- Outstanding organisational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Creative problem-solving with strong planning and decision-making skills.
- An entrepreneurial attitude with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
- Professional and accountable.
- Educated to degree level.
