About the Role

We are seeking a Night Project Worker to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Night Project Worker, you will provide support to our customers with mental health needs, encouraging them to maximise their own potential and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to customers with mental health needs
  • Be a first point of call for customer queries
  • Support progress towards independence in managing positive mental health
  • Offer one-to-one support as required
  • Promote safety by undertaking risk assessments and reviewing customers' needs
  • Regularly assess the needs of customers, writing and updating support plans
  • Develop professional relationships with customers, using appropriate and clear communication to ensure their personal choice, privacy and dignity is maintained
  • Delivery of small group activities to promote recovery and well-being
  • Handle occasional emergency situations
  • Lone working

Requirements

  • Experience of working with adults who have experienced homelessness
  • Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills as well as functional literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to react quickly to changing priorities whilst working to deadlines and targets
  • NVQ3 in Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards is essential
