We are partnering with a mission-driven organisation focused on strengthening community connections to recruit a Schools Project Officer.

The role serves as the primary contact for projects involving the development and maintenance of school sites and buildings.

This vital administrative role is responsible for tracking progress on school site projects, proactively addressing issues to maintain timelines.

The successful candidate will report to the Schools Officer and collaborate with the Children, Young People, and Education team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Attending meetings with the Schools Officer regarding new schools and building projects, completing follow-up tasks promptly;
  • Managing project timelines and ensuring projects are completed on schedule;
  • Collaborating with the project team to identify and address any project-related issues;

This is a 35-hour per week, 3-year fixed term contract with the possibility of extension. The salary is £29,767 per annum plus excellent benefits.

The benefits package includes flexible start and end times, 24 days annual leave, central Canterbury location with free parking, volunteering leave, birthday leave, one wellbeing retreat day per annum, and three tiers of employer pension contributions.
