About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in delivering safe and effective medication management for high-risk COVID patients.

Job Summary

This Band 7 Pharmacist role is responsible for providing specialist clinical advice and guidance related to infectious diseases and COVID treatments. You will conduct clinical assessments, manage patient medication regimens, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialist Clinical Advice: Provide expert guidance on infectious diseases and COVID treatments to healthcare professionals.
  • Clinical Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their medication needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with infection consultants, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Junior Supervision: Supervise and support the professional development of junior pharmacists to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registration: Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is essential for this role.
  • Clinical Experience: Relevant clinical pharmacy experience, preferably in an acute hospital setting, is required.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork are essential for success in this role.
