Senior Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Cardiac) - London

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Pharmacist with expertise in Cardiology and Critical Care to join our team at the Harley Street Clinic, rated Outstanding by the CQC.

This role is based in London's medical district, offering excellent accessibility and employer choice. Our pharmacy team delivers exceptional patient-centred care across our renowned campus housing centres of excellence in Cardiac, Diagnostics, and Complex Oncology.

The postholder will collaborate with specialist consultants, ward managers, and nursing teams to provide a clinical pharmacy service supporting acutely unwell patients. You will ensure safe and effective systems for medicine use and drive medicines optimisation through audit, research, and innovation, tailoring pharmaceutical care to individual needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Lead Clinical Pharmacist in delivering an excellent patient-centred service across Adult ITU and Cardiology at the Harley Street Clinic.
  • Provide an efficient and effective quality-driven pharmacy service consistently meeting the needs of all service users to the highest standard.
  • Contribute to Medicines Management, Pharmacy Practice, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, and Clinical Governance matters by assisting in policy development.
Requirements
  • You must be registered with the GPhC.
  • Possess a postgraduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Have specialist clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience in specialties including cardiovascular & critical care.
  • Demonstrate extensive hospital clinical pharmacy practice experience, including some of the above specialties.

This role comes with a competitive salary of £60,000-£80,000 per annum.
