Job Description:

We are looking for an Inclusive Learning Assistant to join our team at Longdon Hall School. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of an environment and programme of learning for individual students to ensure progression at an appropriate and satisfactory rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with and manage challenging behaviour, enabling students to develop from needing external control, to developing self-control
  • Devise, implement, and review individual education plans, individual behaviour plans, and other relevant individual plans in conjunction with other staff
  • Organise the classroom, its resources, student groupings, and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation appropriate for students

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or related field
  • Experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
  • Ability to work as part of a close-knit team
