Job Title: Medical Staffing Coordinator

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Staffing Coordinator on a full-time, 12 months fixed-term basis. This role will provide support to our operational team with rota planning, locum usage, annual, study and sick leave for the medical workforce, reporting to the medical staffing manager for surgical specialties division.

The successful candidate will work alongside our operational team to provide support with day-to-day medical staffing queries and administrative processes. This role is based within the surgical specialties Division and will support the junior medical staffing workload within the Division of Surgical Specialties.

The post holder will oversee the day-to-day management of annual/study/sick leave and rotas to ensure continuous operational cover across all grades of medical staff whilst ensuring compliance with the Working Time Directive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Medical Staffing Manager in relation to day-to-day medical staffing queries and administrative processes.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of annual/study/sick leave and rotas to ensure continuous operational cover across all grades of medical staff.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all medical staffing enquiries in the Division, including leave, sickness and HR issues.
