Overview

We are a dynamic and independent companion animal practice based in North Dorset and Somerset, seeking a highly skilled veterinary surgeon to join our team.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annumJob Description:

As a veterinary surgeon at our practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients. You will work closely with our team of experienced veterinarians to diagnose and treat a wide range of cases, from routine check-ups to complex surgical procedures.

You will have access to state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including a CT scanner, allowing you to work up cases further without needing to refer. Our practice offers a well-managed work-life balance with staggered start and finish times, a proper lunch break, and a good out-of-hours rota to provide continuity of care to our clients and patients.

Work Arrangements:
  • Full-time position: working 4 days to encourage a good work-life balance
  • Part-time position: 1:12 OOH and weekend rota shared fairly between vets
