Job Description

The Deputy Head (Pupils) is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for leading the provision of pastoral care throughout the Senior School. This involves ensuring the emotional, physical, and intellectual wellbeing of all pupils, inspiring confidence amongst them, their parents, and the pastoral leadership team.

A strategic thinker, you will shape and develop a coherent and innovative whole-school pastoral curriculum and a culture that responds to the evolving needs of our pupils. You will line manage a pastoral team of four Assistant Heads, Deme Wardens, and the School Nurse, and work closely with other senior leaders, including the Vice Master, Foundation DSL, and Assistant Heads.

In this role, you will play an active role in shaping the school's ethos, aims, and strategic direction. Your commitment to safeguarding children and your ability to contribute to the wider strategic development of the school are essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
