About the Role: Deputy Head of Costume

The Royal Court Theatre is looking for a highly skilled Deputy Head of Costume to manage the wardrobe department and support the creation of new productions. The successful candidate will have a solid background in costume management and strong interpersonal skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Take charge of the theatre's wardrobe, overseeing laundry, maintenance, and repairs.
  2. Support the Head of Costume in supervising casual dressers and managing relationships with visiting companies.
  3. Develop and implement effective systems for costume storage, budgeting, and preparation for performances.
  4. Contribute to the development of new productions, working closely with the creative team.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in costume management, supervision, and collaboration.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dedicated to promoting a respectful and inclusive work culture.

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 per annum, based on experience.
