About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all users of the Centre's facilities.
  • Perform pool testing and other duties as required, including cleaning assigned areas and setting up/breaking down activities and events.
  • Engage with customers, encourage repeat bookings, and deliver a high level of customer service at all times.
  • Work a variety of shift patterns, including weekends, early mornings, and late evenings, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Requirements
  • A UK recognised pool lifeguard qualification.
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and the ability to exercise these in the workplace.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to appropriately correct behaviour of pool users and quickly build trust and rapport with customers.
  • High standard of physical fitness.
  • Ability to deliver first-class customer service to a diverse client base.
  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the customers and business.
