Job Overview

Elysium Healthcare is a leading provider of Mental Health services, specializing in supporting individuals who are deaf or have complex communication needs. We are now recruiting a Care Assistant - Deaf Community to join our dedicated team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and residents.

A key requirement for this role is a Level 1 qualification in British Sign Language (BSL), which will enable you to communicate effectively with our residents who use BSL as their primary means of communication.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive training program and benefits such as 33 days annual leave, free meals, and access to wellbeing activities.
