This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the culture, practices and success of Cygnet Kenney House. As a Senior Support Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team providing care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service.
Key Responsibilities- To ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely, considering the needs and preferences of each individual
- To provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support, promoting independence and well-being
- To learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way, developing personalized care plans
- To assist with medical and welfare needs, reporting as required to ensure the highest standards of care
- To maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
- A competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
