Support Our Residents as a Compassionate Care Assistant

We are looking for a kind-hearted and skilled individual to join our team as a Care Assistant at Shawside Care Village. As a valued member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to residents, enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence and dignity.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support to residents, respecting their autonomy and preferences.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement tailored care plans that address resident needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of resident care, reporting any changes or concerns to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to refine your skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Care: A strong foundation in care principles and practices is essential.
  • Safe Handling of Medicines: Experience in administering medications safely and effectively is crucial.
  • Person Centred Care Planning: Knowledge of current care planning practices and delivery methods is desirable.
